Gu.ide

What is a Gu.ide? It is an open application stack comprised of a number of compnents and data structures that together functions as a Guide. A Guide Application can be implemented in many ways, in different langauges. Here we outline how it is structured.

# Technically A guide application is designed to sit within the safety of the web sandox and a sea of federated json. This Federated JSON, is hosted on a large number of small servers that are structured to be simple enough and maintainable by individuals or small groups of volunteers.

We use federated wiki pages, and federated wiki servers as the model for this archtecture, and seek to evolve it in the direction of the needs of the community of Guide Authors and their audience. This approach is based on the principles of the Read-Write-Web with extensions that promote collaboration between participants, and detract from the need to centralise the network archtecture.
